In addition to the excavation simulation training program, a variety of experimental archeology and art workshops are also being implemented, aimed at families and educational institutions.
During the summer holidays there is daily, except Saturday and Sunday, a summer camp with a variety of content. The training program of the summer camps runs on three different educational axes. On a weekly basis, the children carry out a team project. Collective projects aim at enhancing children’s creative thinking in order to generate ideas, apply them, invent and discover, while at the same time strengthening their self-confidence and encouraging communication and expressive skills. Also on a daily basis, children work on an individual project with a common theme for everyone, from the field of art and science. During the rest of the summer camp, when there is no weekly or daily project, children can freely choose what they will do through dozens of different actions offered in the workshop, depending on each child’s personal interests.
